Gary Bell

Peacefully, in the loving arms of his wife and daughter, Gary passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 58. Loving soulmate, best friend and high school sweetheart of Joanne for 42 years. Best “Papa” in the world to Lisa and the late Ryan. Gary will be dearly missed by Grandma Jenny Cutaia , and the Cavallin families. Great friend to his colleagues at Samuel Metals. Gary was an easy going, kind and dependable man with a great sense of humour that could bring a smile to anyone’s face. He felt the most “at home” when he was outdoors, camping, canoeing, and fishing. A loving husband and father. He will be missed and loved always. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home chapel on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
