Sadly on Monday, August 19, 2024, Dorothy passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital in her 69th year.
Beloved wife of the late Albert "Mickey". Loving mother of Ryan (Kim) and Ian (Jamie). Cherished Grammie of Kieran. Dear sister of Joi, Marjorie and Michael. Predeceased by her siblings Fred, Bill and Carol. Dorothy will be truly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Dorothy was an employee with McMaster University for over 25 years in the Thode Library. Throughout her life, Dorothy and the family went on many different road trips. She loved to travel and explore different restaurants in the Hamilton region. You could always catch Dorothy in her garden, she was very proud of it. Dorothy will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Resting at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton for visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
