It is with great sadness that the family of Carole MacFarlane announce her peaceful passing on February 6, 2023, at the age of 79 years.
Carole is fondly remembered by her loving sister Suzanne Paterson, her sons Calvin (Denise) and Scott (Edward), and her granddaughter Sarah. Carole is pre-deceased by her parents Janet and Norman Sr., her stepfather Jack, and brother, Norman Jr.
Carole had many roles in her life, hair salon entrepreneur, mother, wife, bartender, student (Graphic Arts and Film), artist and photographer. She enjoyed life and bringing joy to people. Although she struggled with dementia in her later years, she continued to bring laughter and light with her stories.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas for their years of care, compassion, and dedication to making Carole’s last years the best they could possibly be.
