Anastasia Gojda

Anastasia passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her dear husband of 49 years, Petro. Anastasia will be deeply missed by her son Andrew Myron and his wife Olia, daughter Iryna and her husband Michael Mychailyshyn, and son Taras. Beloved Baba of Paul and his wife Krista Goyda; Stephen and his wife Jessica Goyda; Michael, Ivanka, Nadia, Markianna, and Tamara Mychailyshyn. Dear great-grandmother of Brooklyn, Olivia, Grace, Charlie, and Mykala Goyda. She will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends in Canada, Ukraine, and the United States. Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E., Hamilton, Monday, August 24 at 7:00-9:00 p.m., with Panachyda at 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Barton St. E. at St. Olga St., Hamilton, on Tuesday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville. If desired, charitable donations may be made to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre in Anastasia’s memory.
