Timmy Abner, age 63 of New Miami, passed away on Friday Nov. 1, 2019 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born on December 21, 1955 in Hamilton, the son of the late Roy and Betty (Staneky) Abner. Timmy was a 1974 graduate of New Miami High School. He was a member of the Monkey Mutual Aid Society and retired from Champion Paper as a store room clerk. On Nov. 28, 1984 in Hamilton, he married Kimberly Ellis. Timmy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kim Abner; daughter Rachel (Ryan) Oliver; grandchildren, Reed and Rhett Oliver; siblings, Thomas Abner and Cynthia Timmer; father and mother-in-law John and Barbara Ellis; brother-in-law, Greg (Donna) Ellis; sisters-in-law, Karen (Tim) Lucisano and Kathy Simkow; nieces and nephews, Emily Abner, Lori (Steve) Sapp-Walker, John (Shawna) Ellis and Kari (Van) Ellis; a special cousin Sue (Glen) Baker; his best buddy Charles (Spunk) Campbell, and many other special friends. Timmy enjoyed playing cards in the garage, watching sports on TV, and doing crossword puzzles. He was also preceded in death by a nephew Jeremy Simkow and a cousin Neil Staneky. Memorial Service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Gathering for family and friends will be held prior to services from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
