Shirley Ann Newkirk

She married the love of her life Walter Newkirk on December 1, 1962 in Hamilton Ohio. Shirley was employed at Barnes Aerospace before retiring in 2012. She enjoyed crafting, camping, dancing and music. But everyone that knew her knows she loved her Keystone Light. If she had her way she would have lived on a beach with her toes in the sand.

She loved her family dearly. She is survived by her three daughters, Tamara (Mark) Minnick, Joan (Bill) Vaughn and Toni (Hearl Dean) Hill, 6 grandchildren; Jeff (Casey) Vaughn, Adam (Amy) Minnick, Holly (Corey) Robertson, Lindsay Vaughn, Alicia Minnick and Lacey Hill, 8 great-grandchildren Owen, Ian, Ava, Brooklyn, Brent, Alexander, Dallas, Mya and her youngest sister Sandra Smith. She also leaves behind many family and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Walter, her parents, sisters Margie Anderson & Geraldine Blevins.

A gathering will be held on Thursday, May 12th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011 with funeral service to follow. Condolences may be left for the family at www.rosehillfunerals.com.
