BRADFORD, Marvin Leroy, age 81, passed away, Sunday, December 31, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1942 in West Union, Ohio to Virgil and Dorothy Bradford. Marvin loved his family especially his grandchildren, was a musician that played the guitar and sang gospel music, devoted Christian, was patriotic and loved the United States, played baseball while he was in high school at Western Hills High in Cincinnati, Ohio, retired from Meyer Tool as a Machinist, served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 27 years, Margie Violet Bradford (nee Hurst); brother, Ron Stratton.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Bradford; daughters, Jennifer L. Buckley (Lonnie), Karen L. Schlichter (Fred); son Brian L. Bradford (Tammy); grandchildren, Hannah, Victor, Nathan, Logan, Kyle, Ray, Kellen; brother, Don Stratton.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until Funeral Services at 11:00 am on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Pastor Todd Hatcher, officiating.
