Helen E. (nee Jones) Dye, age 75, of Hamilton, passed away at Golden Years Nursing Center, on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. She was born in Hamilton on March 12, 1937 the daughter of J.B. Marshall and Sudie (Lewis) Jones. Helen was a payroll clerk at Champion Paper for over 30 years, retiring in 1996. Helen was a member of West Side Church of Christ and an avid Reds fan. Helen loved her grandchildren, and was devoted to attending her grandson’s sporting events at Edgewood Schools. She is survived by her son Cliff (girlfriend Sheri) Dye; daughter; Amy Dye both of Hamilton; grandchildren, Brittany Paulsen and Jacob Paulsen; a sister, Clara (Wendell) Hobby of Pigeon Forge, TN, a sister-in-law, Faye Jones of Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, William E. Jones, Dillard (June) Jones, and Cecil Jones. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave., on Friday Dec. 21st from 10:00 AM to time of funeral service at 12 noon with Evangelist Dan Knisley and Ray S. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Helen’s family thanks the staffs of Golden Years, Ft. Hamilton Hospital, and Dr. Sargero and his office for all the care and concern given to Helen.
