Caroline Riley, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. She was born on February 16, 1954 in Franklin, the daughter of the late William and Christine (Collins) Rains. Caroline is survived by her children, Sterling (Sherri) Windhorst, Jr., Douglas (Amber Yeager) Windhorst, and Christy (Terry) Ledford; grandchildren, Tia, Courtney, Ricki, Andrew, Brandon, Jaicee, Donny, Braedon, and Taegan; great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Elliot, Nathan, and one more on the way; siblings, Teresa Campbell, Cathy Rains, and Scotty Rains; and special friend, Brian Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Christine Rains; husband, Leonard “Lenny” Riley; and siblings, Spencer Rains, Dempsey Rains, Junior Rains, Charlotte Sparks, and Vincent Rains. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 10am until 12pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will begin at 12pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
