Candace Robinson, age 45. Candy was surrounded by a room full of love as she departed this life, January 25, 2017 at 5:04pm. She was born in Hamilton on February 1, 1971 to James and Lillie Robinson. Candy was a graduate of Hamilton High School, and later furthered her education at Miami University, majoring in Psychology. Candy worked at Hallmark for 20 years, and her current occupation was at Fusion’s Studio. Candy is survived by her loving mother, Lillie; brothers, Rob and Dave and his fiancé, Brenda; nephew, Brad; uncle and aunt who were like her second mom and dad, Ford (Jean) Sandlin; and uncle, Foister Sandlin. She is also survived by a host of cousins that were a part of her everyday life, Carla (Reggie) Smith, Chrissy (Eli) Pruitt and Cathy McDaniel; and their children, Benton, Sam, Connor, Shelby, Jack, Kayla and Abby who were like her own children. Also surviving Candy are cousins, Tammy (Daryl) Hibbard, Lisa Varney, Ron (Rhonda) Varney and Annette (Pat) Hughes; and their children, Tracy (Chris), Shelly, Daryl (Christina), Brooke, Jordan, Cierra, Noah, Lexi, Lani and Ryland; her brother’s dog, Ricky Bobby; friend, Krista Chadwell; Dr. Steve Boyd and his wife Shannon for their amazing love and care; and special friend, Jason Gray. She was preceded in death by her father, James. A heartfelt thanks to all the cardiac staff at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Candy lived in the moment and took such special joy in everything she ever did in life. Visitation will be held from 10am until 12pm on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
