Anita Marie English

Anita Marie English, age 86 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on Jan 11, 2024. She was born May 1, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of late Joseph and Josephine Leicher. She married the love and her life and high school sweetheart, Forrest English on December 3, 1960 in the presence of friends and family in Cleveland, Ohio. She had various jobs, but worked as a secretary at the House of Representatives in Columbus, Ohio for many years prior to her retirement. She is survived by her children, JoAnna "Dee" (David) Young, Joseph (Tammy) English, and Jeffrey (Angie) English; her grandchildren, Benjamin Young, Amanda (Jarrod) McKinley, Abigayle (Brian) Loose, Andrea English, and Phillip (Haley) English; and great-grandchildren, Evie, Luke, Liam, and one on the way. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of the St. Edwards Parish in Granville, Ohio for many years. She then became a member of St. Mary's Parish after moving to Cincinnati, Ohio in 2022 and living at Marjorie P. Lee retirement community. Anita was an amazing cook, with an infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. She is dearly missed by her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband. She will be cremated and her remains will be buried with her husband's, Forrest English, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pataskala, Ohio after a private memorial with her family.
