Tony (Anthony Bernard) Beech, 72 of Halifax, NS passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at VG Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Tony was born in London England and came to Canada with his parents and siblings in 1952. He was always very proud to be Canadian. Tony was the son of Ernest and Julia Beech of Halifax. Tony was very active in the music scene in the Maritimes. He hosted the very popular easy listening radio program “Candlelight and Wine” on two local radio stations. Survived by his two daughters, Linda and Leslie as well as two brothers, Gerald and Peter. Visitation will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 9:00am from St Mary’s Basilica, Halifax. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Vincent’s Nursing Home, 2080 Windsor Street Halifax, NS B3K5B2.
