Stephen (Stephane) Rioux

years old after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Stephane courageously ended his battle with

cancer at home and on his terms with dignity in a selfless and caring manner for those whom he

loved and cared for. Surrounded by his loving family, Stephane left his cancer behind with the

assistance of the MAID program.

Stephane was a very hardworking person, and had worked at Casino Nova Scotia for the last

25 years. He was always there with a smile and hello for anyone who worked alongside him or

came for a game. Always available to go out for wings, or a quick game of pool, Stephane

appreciated the good friends that he made over the years.

Born in Mont-Joli, Quebec, Stephane was the son of Yolande Gagnon and Alfred Rioux. He is

survived by both of his parents, as well as his sisters Linda, Nathalie, and Christine and his

children, Lindsay (Thomas) and Jordan. Stephane also had three nephews: Frederic,

Jean-Francois and Davick, and two grandchildren, Alexander and Hailey.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 20, 2022 from 1pm-3pm at J.A. Snow Funeral

Home.
