She was very active in the Anglican Church and IODE in both Dartmouth and Middleton. She enjoyed curling, golfing, lawn bowling, gardening, playing cards and reading. After her husband passed away she took up painting which she excelled at.
Family was most important to Mom and she will be deeply missed by her son Norman (Fiona), Edmonton; daughter Jane (John), Bedford; granddaughter Jennifer, Dartmouth; great-grandsons Brogan and Connor; brother Richard (Wendy), Ballyshannon, Ireland; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George Roy (1981), infant son Eric William; sisters Henrietta (Etta), Maureen, and Olive; brothers George and John.
As per Mom’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held March 16th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Lacewood Drive.
