Rose Rosie Margaret Pettipas Saulnier

SAULNIER, Rose Margaret - September 4, 1927 - September 5, 2012. We announce with heavy hearts the passing of our dear mother, Rose Margaret Saulnier, 85, at Melville Gardens Nursing Home on September 5, 2012. Born in East Chezzetcook, NS, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Pettipas and Margaret Bonang. She will be sadly missed by her children, Donna (Bill), Shirley (George), Michael (Sharon), Debbie (Bruce); grandchildren, Craig, Sommer, Micala, Ashley and Colin; and her ten great-grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Felix; sisters Mildred and Eva; brothers Ephriam and Robert. Rose will be missed by all, as she loved being around people, and was always there to lend a helping hand. She always thought of everyone else before herself, never wanting anything in return. In her earlier years, she loved to play bingo and enjoyed a good game of poker. Family will receive relatives and friends at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531 on Thursday, September 6th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 7th at 11:00am; at St. Genevieve’s Church in East Chezzetcook. Interment will follow.
