It is with sadness to announce that Mary Lou (Bishop) Campbell, 89 of Halifax, passed away peacefully on February 27th, 2019.Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was the daughter of Judge D.R. Bishop and Carolyn A. Currie. Mary Lou grew up in Woodstock, New Brunswick and had many happy memories of her childhood there .For those of you who knew Mary Lou, would know that she loved people. Mary Lou loved helping people. Mary Lou was very dedicated to volunteering at the Food Bank, and for many years, she and Donald enjoyed volunteering at the Soup Kitchen. Mary Lou and Donald enjoyed travelling especially with friends and with the P.O.W. Association.Mary Lou is survived by her son Colin (Josee) Campbell, Ottawa; daughter Jennifer and Terry Davis, Halifax; her sister Jane B. Douglas, Rhode Island; granddaughter Caroline A. Davis, Zurich; and grandson Kenneth A.D. Davis, Winnipeg. One niece, Martha Douglas, and four nephews: Robert Douglas, Ian Campbell, Graham Campbell, and Donald C. Campbell. Mary Lou was predeceased by her Parents, and her dearly beloved husband Donald G. Campbell. Visitation will be held at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS Friday March 1st from 6:00 - 8:00. The Memorial service will be at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, Saturday, March 2nd, at 2:00 with Rev. Carson Baxter Officiating. Reception to follow
