Mary Kathleen Gallant

Born November 30th, 1930, she passed away surrounded by family on December 12th. 2024. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Edward, her mother Hannah and father Gus MacKenzie, siblings George, Gus, Hilda, Dorothy, Marg, Rita, Joyce, Doreen, Doug, twin sister Carol, Don and Cecil. Mary was the last surviving member of her family. Mary is survived by her seven children, Judy (Gary Pinaud), Joe ( Theresa ), Mike (Bev), Steve (Gloria), Tom ( Pat), Rob (Sheri), Greg (Laurie) and her 22 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.

Mary had many talents but one of her greatest gifts was making people feel special, she touched many lives. She was also known for her incredible cakes that she made for special occasions. Mary was happiest when she was spending time with her family and she enjoyed her trips to Ontario, British Columbia, PEI and of course Florida.

The family would like to thank the staff at Parkland Clayton Park, Drummond Hall, for the wonderful care given to Momma Mary. Celebration of life will take place on January 3rd, 2025 @ 10:00am, JA Snow Funeral Home, Lacewood Drive, followed by a reception to gather with the family. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
