Mary Louise Fournier

Fournier, Mary Louise, formerly of Midland, Ontario, Passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Raleigh Twp., Ontario to Roseanna and Henry Peltier in 1915. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Joel, her daughter in law Sheila, her daughter Carol ,of Halifax, her step-daughters, Joan of California, Olive of New Brunswick; her dear sister, Laura of Ontario, her grandchildren, Christopher of Ottawa and Renee of Halifax; great- grandchildren Tess , Nicolas, Adam and James, and Several step-grandchildren who were all so dearly loved. Mary Louise was predeceased by her husband, Walter, step-children, Albert, Leo, Patrick, James, Walter Jr., Loretta, Teresa, Margaret, Stella, Lucy and Rita. Also predeceased by her brother Alphie and her sister Edna. Mary Louise was a school teacher for several years, beginning her Career in a one room school, teaching 8 grades in both French and English. Who knew her, she was a very loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend and will be greatly missed by so many. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday July 7th, at 11 am in St. Theresa’s Church, 6351 North St. Halifax, NS. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
