Marie Theresa Boudreau

Marie “Re Re” Theresa Boudreau (Henry) - age 78 of Halifax passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a short bout with Liver Cancer. Born in Halifax to Fred and Ivy Henry, she married Alfred Joseph Boudreau and proudly kept a loving home for him and their two children for over 55 years. Re Re was a second mother to countless children to whom she opened her home and her heart.

She was among the most senior BINGO players at the Lakeside Firehall, rarely missing a week in many, many years. She enjoyed Christmas, always shopping for bargains year round. The most wonderful gift she gave her family and friends was her selfless devotion. Marie’s greatest reward was becoming “Nanny” to her three grandchildren with whom she shared a very special bond.

Marie is survived by her husband; son, Rick (Kris); daughter, Lisa Harris (Dean); brother, Fred Henry (Ontario); grandchildren, Ryan, Robyn, and Aren Harris. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Gordon Henry.

Visitation will take place in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Thursday, March 26 at 11 am in St. Agnes Church with reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
