I am so sorry to hear of Joan's passing she was such a spiritual and giving person I was so blessed to have her in my life

Joan is now gone from Hatchet Lake but her memory's and presences still remains, she was such a wonderful woman and made the best of meals, and her favorite thing was Angels, and that must be because she was like an angel to all her friends. Our thoughts will always be with the family and may her memories live on within us. Very fine lady, wife, mother, grandmother is gone but will never be forgotten.

I am so very sorry to learn of Joan's passing.  Last summer when we were "home" we briefly met, hugged & chatted while strolling up the road.  I will remember her as per that day, so positive, happy & filled with peace & love.

What a shock for me to read of Joan's passing this morning in the paper. I have warm memories of Joan as a fellow employee in MT&T Accounting and of course when she became your wife, Jonneth. God willing, Linda and I will see you on Friday. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Jonathan and family - so sorry to hear about Joan's passing.  I worked with her at MT&T many years ago - a lovely lady.  My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.  Jonathan, it seems like yesterday that you had a room at my mother's house, Laura Goguen, before meeting this amazing women that you were very blessed to have 42 years with. Joan C. Macleod was a very special person. She always met you with a smile whether she knew you or not.  She was always greeting strangers with her infectious positive attitude.  She would tell me about the interesting people she met and chatted with.  Then again, in Joan's eyes, everyone had something interesting to say.

Joan gave without hesitation with her heart and her innate goodness.  Nothing was too much for her to give.  Her family, her friends and even strangers were recipients of her generous nature.

Joan didn't know how to be anything but understanding and loving towards all.

The world on a physical level has lost a great lady.  However, in spirit the world has gained another angel.

My sincere condolences to J.W., Derek, James and George on the loss of your wife and Mom.  May you know she will never be far from you and she will forever look after you and your families.
