Jessie Anna McGrath

The family of Jessie Anna McGrath is heartbroken to announce the passing of their beloved family member, Jessie 83, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 27, 2020 at the QEII-Victoria General in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was born in Westphal, New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on April 11, 1937 the daughter of the late Alexander Fraser and Violet Fraser (Hughes).

Jessie is predeceased by her husband, Wayne McGrath, her 2 sisters Margaret O’Hagen and Frances Rosen and 2 brothers John and Robert Fraser.

She is survived by her two children; Greg McGrath of, Halifax N.S. and Darrell McGrath (Juanita) of Calgary, Jessie Is also survived by her two grandchildren Channing and Stephen from Calgary and two great grandchildren Charlie and Avery. She is survived by one brother William (Corrinne) Fraser and one sister Henrietta (Roger) Demontigny as well as several other nieces and nephews and their families

Thank you to the QEII/VG Hospital staff, especially those in the Palliative Care Unit, for their care and support of Jessie. The family would also like to thank everyone who has reached out to us during this difficult time.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 14, 2020 at St. John's Cemetery, Halifax.
