I'm very sorry for your loss, I only new your father for one short year, but his wonderful smile and laugh will leave a lasting impression forever.  He talked of you often and was very proud of you, he was always happy when he could make the trip to Red Deer to see you.  I will miss him.

Dearest Diane, and family....words hardly seem to even begin to measure the pain,loss,void,sadness,and grief. If I could take the pain away from you I would in a minute. Nobody only God knows why the good die young and he will be so greatly missed. I know when Dink was gone away and he would call you your eyes would just illuminate with such happiness and love for him and the care in your voice and tenderness will never ever leave my ears.You two were most certainly soul mates and such tragedies happen for unknown reasons. Diane, I pray that God will place His loving hands around your heart today and the days to follow and ease your hurts.You lost a very good husband,friend,confident and I know you  are a strong lady who will persevere but allow your heart to heal.R.I.P.Dinl,you will be missed!...gone but never will be forgotten....God bless your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on this day.  When I think of Dinkle I will always remember his kind heart and great big smile.  He always had time to talk to our daughter and give her money to buy a chocolate bar.  Although I didn't know him well I heard many stories about him thru Steve and we will continue to laugh at the stories of years gone by. I truly feel like I lost another brother. I'll always remember Dinkle as someone who tried to make the best out of each day. His laughter, welcoming smile, the kind personality and sense of humor he had, are just a few, of the many things that made him who he was. A good human being and a real friend. I'm sure he's been angry before. I just don't recall when. To Colleen, Carol, and Lockie, and the whole MacDonald family, I send you my deepest heart and soul felt regrets over our loss. I am there with you all, in spirit of the soul and mind. The world I know, has become a much sadder place to be, since his death. And the only thing that will take this sadness away, is death itself. R.I.P. & T.O.Y. Dink. I'll see you on the other side my friend, and brother.

 It  with a  heavy heart  that  I heard  of Dinks  passing.He was  a  great   guy  who  thought  the  world of his  family  and  friends.I have many good memories of him  when he would come  and visit his brother  Robert either  at  my place  when i   lived in  Halifax or at  Roberts place.

Katrina, I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a great guy. He had a love for life just like you have, and i know he is so proud of who you have become today. As long as i live i will never forget, me, you and your dad going to the buffet in bayers lake for supper. It was one of the funniest times in my life. Gerald had a great sense of humour and was so happy to have you in his life. I know you didn't have the time you wanted with him, but thankfully it was time well spent with no regrets. I always enjoyed my dealings with Gerald, although in a professional capacity, his easy going demeanour made it more like two friends talking. I am saddened by his passing. I know he cared for his family a great deal and was hard working and was looking forward to finishing up work out west to work back home full time to be close to those dear to his heart.
