Bernard Existe d’Entremont, 85 of Halifax, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 4, 2011 at the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Middle East Pubnico, he was the son of late Existe and Geneva d’Entremont. He retired in 1991 from Sumner Plumbing and Heating. Bernie loved his family and friends and enjoyed them to the fullest. He is survived by his wife Mae, of 56 years, daughters Joanne (Darrell) Keezer, Fredericton, NB., Rebecca (Philip) Churchill, Bedford. brother Walter (Denise) d’Entremont, Fort Erie, ON, sister-in-law Mabel d’Entremont, Middle East Pubnico, and grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Megan and Christopher. Many nieces and nephews thought the world of their Uncle Bernie. He was predeceased by brothers Donald and Allan. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Theresa’s Church, North Street, Halifax, Father Philippe Thibodeau officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will follow at a later date at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Middle East Pubnico. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Vincent de Paul Society, Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice.
