Thinking of you, Catherine, at this difficult time. Your mother's journey here on Earth has ended, and your journey will be changed without her. Let me assure you, she will still be with you in your heart, each and every day. Little things will bring her to mind, and you will hear her voice and feel her presence. I have so many happy memories of Joan and Mike and family. A special one was many years ago in Bridgetown, NS. Our parents, Marjorie and Dick had a granny cottage annexed to their heritage home. Joan was asked if she would temporarily deliver the local mail. She cajoled my Dad to be the gofer while she drove to the various mail boxes.  Both thought this task so much fun and loved being part of the community.

To my dear cousins Cathy, Margo and Marybeth:

I am so sorry to hear that your mom has passed away. It must have been a comfort to her to have her three daughters by her side in her final moments.  I will hold all of you and your families in my heart as I think of Auntie Joan today. She was a gentle and beautiful person.

So sad to hear the news of your mom passing.  Catherine you have always been there for your mom no matter what you went through together as a mother and daughter. She definitely was a strong lady. I pray for peace that passes all understanding for you and your sister has you face some difficult days ahead. We will keep you in our prayers.
