Alexander Douglas Stuart

Stuart, Alexander (Alex) Douglas It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, brother, grandfather, brother-in-law and uncle Alex Stuart at the age of 66 on May 8th, 2024. Alex was born on July 30th, 1957, to his parents the late Bob and Betty Stuart (Whynot). Alex spent many of his younger years playing hockey and baseball and made many lifelong friends along the way. Alex was an avid sports fan, particularly the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. Alex was employed at Bell Aliant for 45 years. Alex was always there to make people laugh and wanted everyone to be happy. He would do anything to make you laugh and put a smile on your face. His infectious personality will be greatly missed. Alex was the proud father of his two daughters Nicole (Jonathan) and Danielle and granddaughters Lennox and Lena as well as bonus grandchildren Paityn and Jaxon. He loved his family dearly. Alex is survived by his daughters and granddaughters. His sister Nancy (Dan) McNeil, and brothers David (Manon) and Allan (MaryAnn) Stuart as well as several nieces and nephews and Yvette Stuart, mother of Nicole and Danielle. Alex was predeceased by his parents Bob and Betty, brothers Robert and Jimmy and grandparents Charlie and Edna Stuart, Brenton and Ellen Whynot. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at JA Snows on Friday May 17th from 6-8pm. Private family interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Lower Sackville.
