Born in Chicago on January 30, 1937, Georgiana was a devoted science and math teacher for over 40 years in Michigan and the Chicago area. She was also a member of the Adrian Dominican Sisters from 1954 to 1975, where she was known as Sister Ann Marise.
She is survived by her much loved sister Judy Thompson McKay; her brother-in-law Richard James McKay; her niece Katherine Navarro-McKay & her husband Alex; nephew Richard Thompson McKay; grand-nephew Avi Navarro-McKay and many dear cousins in the Chicago area.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Arden Court and Grace Hospice for their extraordinary care.
We will celebrate her life with a Memorial Mass and celebratory luncheon at 1pm on Saturday, September 13th at St. Anastasia Church, 1095 Teaneck, RD, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
On October 11th another Memorial Service will be held in Chicago.
