Thank goodness for technically. I am so grateful to have been able to "attend" the funeral while in NYC . 
The four of you gave WONDERFUL eulogies. I loved what Judy did, asking everyone to write something about Mom. I realized I have OLD photos of the grandchildren.  Once mourning is over and your lives calm down, I'd love updated photos for the family tree. 
Esther was a BEAUTIFUL, LOVING woman. She was a LOVING cousin to her generation. My Mom ADORED her. And the next generation! I ADORED her too.
May she rest in PARADISE forever!

Esther Korin  was very much a part of my adolescence and coming of age.  As a friend of Jon’s, I spent many hours at the Korin house in New City, NY (Rockland County). I will always remember her warm smile, friendliness and welcoming spirit. That meant a lot.

My condolences to the entire Korin family who I know are very proud of Esther. She lived a long and meaningful life and I am grateful to have known her.

I always called her “Esther Izzy’s” and she called me “Lois Esther Pia’s”, since we had a lot of Esther’s in our family. Esther Izzy’s was one of my favorite cousins and I loved her very much.

One of my earliest memories was going to a Family Circle meeting at Esther and Sam’s in New City. The word spread quickly among the younger cousins there was something interesting upstairs. Well, we all ran upstairs to see this marvelous all black-tiled bathroom. None of us had ever seen anything like it. A few of us still laugh about that day.

Esther and her brother Seymour were two of the warmest people in the Lubchansky family. I’m sure they inherited that warmth from their father Izzy, who (when I was very young), would lift me up to the ceiling and scare the hell out of me. 

After Esther and Sam moved to Florida, I would visit them (and later, just Esther) whenever I flew in from Israel to visit my parents. Esther was always so kind and welcoming to me and to all the Israeli cousins who came to Florida.

Whenever I spoke with her on the phone, I could tell that she was smiling and her eyes were twinkling. And of course, we laughed a lot.

After my mom passed, Esther invited me to stay for a few days. We had long talks and she cheered me up, and even took me clothes shopping. I will always remember her kindness and concern.

About two years ago, Rob and Ben came to Israel on a father-son trip. Esther was thrilled that we got to meet. The two of us had a big laugh about the photo I sent her with the three of us … two giants with a midget in the middle!

Esther if you are listening, I just finished watching one of the Roland Garros semi-final games. It lasted 5 sets and Alcarez beat Sinner. You would have loved it!

I miss you already!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Korin family. Esther (Estha as Geno would call her) was part of our family for almost 20 years and brought so much happiness to all of us. We are very thankful for our times together and we’re lucky to have known her.
Rest in peace dear Esther.

I will miss Ester so much,  especially during football season! For  someone who started out knowing virtually nothing about football,  she was intrigued about the family texting circle we Dunn's had when Alabama played... and a few other teams we sometimes pulled for... our against.  A few years ago she asked to join the circle and eavesdrop,  as it sounded like we were having so much fun.  Not only did she join,  but Ester became a full fledged member and a BIG Bama fan! We all looked forward to hearing her comments each week and she often surprised us with her advancing knowledge of the game! She became a real football fan! There probably wasn't a week that went by that she didn't get on to one of us for saying something..... well.... impolite about an opponent or a play we didn't like.  We would laugh and tell hey how that fan- thing works! Unlike Jon, she never went to sleep during a game and always said Roll Tide at the end.... and told us she loved us and would be there next week.  I couldn't help but send her Bama fleece during the Hanukkah- Christmas season. 
It wasn't all that long ago that we talked about the upcoming season (she was always tickled that... for some reason when my phone made a "butt call"  it almost always dialed her).  We all will certainly miss Ester this season.  I know we'll throw a few Roll Tides her way.

Cycling Without Age allows seniors and others with mobility limitations to "feel the wind in their hair", experience the outdoors and interact with others.   It brings joy to all whether in front, back or watching.   Mom was able to enjoy her first ride in a "Trishaw" 3 weeks ago and said that everyone there was smiling!

I have so many fond memories of Esther and I will always cherish every one of them. She was an exceptional person and role model, and meant so much to me in my teen and early adult years. I’ll never forget everything she did for me and I’ll never forget her. Rest in peace Madre.

Esther was the life and soul of our writing group. She kept us real, accountable and cared for us as the mother and grandmother most of us no longer have . Her life stories and her re-creation of her grandparents and her parents’ immigration journey were moving and written with depth and meaning. We were continually inspired by her perceptive mind, honest perspectives,  sharp humor and her quick laugh. This was  all true up to the last time we were together two weeks before her passing. Thank you to Esther’s family for lending us your mom.  We trust you will be comforted as she lives on in the warm memories you have of this very special person.

Aunt Esther was always so lovely and kind to us.  I have many fond memories visiting her in Florida.  May she rest in eternal peace.
