Virginia J. Misiora, 93, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was born November 24, 1929 in Chicago, IL. Lived 40 years in Elmwood Park, IL, 30 years in Mountain Home, AR. Before moving to Bickford of Gurnee, IL. Assisted Living Facility. She is survived by her nephews, Ronald (the late Gale) Misiora, Robert (Suzanne) Nyck; nieces, Carol (Jim) Barrett, Cathleen (Daniel) Kouba; grandnephews, James and Kevin (Laura) Barrett, Brian (Gina) Misiora and Robert Kouba; grandnieces, Christina (Don) Perry, Jennifer (Thomas) Andrzejewski, Dina (Jacob) Dixon, Stacy (Matthew) Cone; great-grandnephews, Hudson, Storm, and Sawyer Barrett, Alexander and Austin Cone, James Misiora and William Dixon; great-grandnieces, Anya Barrett, Adeline Misiora, Halaina and Gianna Misiora and her very best friend Connie Eblen. Her parents Albert and MaryAnn, brother and his wife, Walter and Adeline Misiora, sister and her husband, Evelyn and Roman Nyck and brother Thadeus preceded her in death. She retired after 26 years for the Navy Regional finance office and 9 years for the Navy Data Automation Facility at the Great Lakes Naval Base. She volunteered for 13 years as an income tax aid for AARP.

A visitation for Virginia will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. Funeral mass on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Niles. IL.
