I have know for Ron for last past 6 years.I have net him at wheeling park district Pickleball  open play .he taught me from A to Z
Finally we play together at Wisconsin Senior Olympic won the gold medal! Of cause I did not do much things.he totally dominated opponents just by himself.but he never wanted embarrassed opponents he hit few times intentionally hit ball out with out them noticing and he wink me .it’s ok
He loved competition but never respect of opponents!
That what I remember of him .he was always kind to beginners as well.I carry his legacy.I try to do same as him .

So so sorry to Kris and the entire Alden family. Ron was such a friendly person and a terrific neighbor. Every time I would see him working on his lawn, he would greet me with that terrific smile he had and a wave. Or he would stop what he was doing and ask about my day and/or my family. I met Ron before we even moved two doors down from him and Kris. I’d be running with my dog, and he always waved. I know he was busy and hard-working but, he always made time for a chat. I will think of him every time I walk past the house. Again, I’m so sorry for your loss, Alden’s. He will definitely be missed  in this neighborhood.

To Kris and family:  Debbie and I continue to have you and your family in our thoughts.  Ron was exceptional in every respect.  Devoted husband, father, son, and sibling.  Possessor of many amazing qualities. Terrific friend to so many, generous with and giving of his time to be with them.  Clever, sharp, and entertaining under-the-radar humor.  Athletic talents way beyond the curve, and the envy of all. I’m grateful to have known him for the better part of my life.

We are so sorry to hear the news of Ron’s passing. He was so sweet to us and we loved having him at our wedding. It touched our hearts that everytime we saw him since then he would say, “I still think about your reception…what a good time!” He was so nice and kind and we send our deepest condolences.

Sad to hear the news of Ron’s passing. Susan and I just saw Nate’s post on Facebook.  We’re in Florida now or we would be at the Memorial service. Chris , Nate and Ashley, please accept our sincere condolences. Going back to !987, I was often at Ron’s shop working on a guitar, piano, and even a rocking chair. Ron was more than happy to share his knowledge and expertise. We remember some dinners out, and Halloween at a local C.C.  among the good memories. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. I’ll always remember Ron  as a kind fun loving friend. I feel lucky to have known him   RIP my friend❤️.

I met Ron playing pickleball in Wheeling. He was a great player, always willing to help others with their game. Ron led a very interesting life and shared some of his stories with me. He often mentioned his family, of which he was obviously proud and that brought him great joy. I'm sorry I didn't get to see Ron once he became ill but I know he fought the good fight. He will be missed.

I played pball  in at least three places where Ron played. As you know, he played in Wheeling for a number of years.  He was an excellent player. (I don't remember ever beating him at Wheeling in  eight or so years.) He was upbeat and fun to play with. I will miss seeing and playing pball with him. He would give me pointers and probably his biggest beef with me would be hitting out balls. I kept doing it over and over. (Not Impressive)  However, out balls and all, he was a fun person and loved his family. God be with you guys during this difficult time.

So very sorry to hear about Ron.  We have great memories of him when Brian and Keith were playing baseball and he was Keith coach.  Such a great coach!  
We also enjoyed  seeing him at all the Warren Basketball games when the boys were playing.

Kris, Nate, Ashley and Family:  I was so sorry to hear the news of Ron’s passing.  As you know, we spent many years together managing the Warren Junior Blue  Devil’s Basketball Program and Tournament.  I have fond memories of my times with Ron and he will certainly be missed.  Annie and I, along with Noah and Josh,  will keep all of you in our prayers for God’s peace and comfort.  May the good memories live on like a finely tuned piano.
