Margaret "Muggs" M. McLellan

Margaret M. “Muggs” McLellan, 88, of Waukegan, was born August 12, 1925 in Davenport, Iowa to the late Frank and Marie (nee Bell) Lacey and passed away September 29, 2013 at the Clarebridge Assisted Living in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J., loving mother of Carol L. Closson, Donna J. (Dieter) Lenz and Kathleen M. McLellan; cherished grandmother of Debra (Steve) Bonnes, Scott (Rachel) Closson, Jason Lenz and Nicole Lenz; great grandmother of Courtney, Brandon, Abbey, Emily, Jordan and Logan; dear sister of the late Marilyn Rosenthal and loving aunt of Robert (Robin) Rosenthal. Margaret is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. Margaret was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Gurnee, a church elder, Sunday school teacher, member of the church choir for 66 years and member of Rachel Circle and CWF. Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5-8 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee and Friday, October 4 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service, 10:00 AM at First Christian Church, 6080 Gages Lake Road, Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund.
