Carol M. Childress

Carol M. Childress, 73, resident of Gurnee, IL. passed away on December 15, 2014. She was born on May 9, 1941 in Hoboken, New Jersey to Charles T. and Edna M. Ripke. Carol was an employee of the Lake County Recorder of Deeds office for 18 years, was an usher of the theater department in the College of Lake County and was a former member of the Moose Club. She is survived by her 2 children Cynthia (Marvin) Dahle of Harvard, and Michael Muller (Sue Boehm) of Carol Stream; her life companion Jerome Jackson; former daughter-in-law Katherine Walters of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Randy, Scott, Jeffrey, Kaitlyn and Sarah Dahle and Karoline Muller; two step sons, Richard Childress of England and David (Sue) Childress of Crystal Lake; and a multitude of friends. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Edmund H. Childress.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 4 to 9pm at Marsh Funeral Home. Burial Private. Flowers also gratefully accepted.
