Bu Nyo Kim

Bu Nyo Kim, age 95, of Lake Bluff formerly of Grayslake passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Claridge Healthcare. Bu was born on August 7, 1927 in Sang Nam, Korea to Su D. and Bang (Song) Lee. She married Jong Kim in Korea in 1959. Bu moved to the United States in 1982 to be closer to her daughter. She was a member of Jubilee Community Church in Mundelein and in her free time enjoyed crocheting. Her greatest joy was her family, they were the most important thing in her world and she spent every moment taking care of them.

She was preceded in death by, her husband; her parents; a son, Jin Kim and two grandsons, Peter and Yong Un Kim.

Bu is survived by, three children, Heung Soo & Ok Kim, Yae & Carl Scott and Yun & Kyu Lee; five grandchildren, Yong Jin Kim, Jinny & Michael Forrester, Esther & Jed Kim, Hyun Lee and Ounhe Lee and three great grandchildren, Sophia Forrester, Nathan Forrester and Sae Joon Kim.

A memorial service for Bu will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Marsh Funeral Home (305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL). A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until the time of service.
