With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth Marie Bateson, 64 years. Mother to daughter Terra Fowler and son Andrew Haischt on September 25, 2023, at the Guelph General Hospital with husband Ian Bateson by her side. She was predeceased by her father James Fowler and brother Gary Fowler. Left behind her mother Marilyn Fowler and sisters Linda Kent and Karen Gilbertson as well as nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Her big heart and tell it like it is nature will be missed by many.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. As per Ruth’s wishes cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
