Roberto Poma

Roberto Poma passed away in the early hours on Monday November 15th following an acute brain hemorrhage at the age of 41. Roberto is survived by his wife Becky Valentine, their two beautiful children Leonardo and Valentina, Roberto's parents Franco and Anna Poma of Biella, Italy, and Becky's parent's Peter and Peggy Valentine of Calgary, Alberta. He is also mourned by Roberto's brother Stefano (Michele), Becky's brother Patrick and sisters Pamela (Brent) and Megan (Andrew), their children, and countless friends. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the ICU at Hamilton General Hospital, Chris Thomas and Paula Dylan and most especially to the helpful guidance of Dr. Salei. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice Street, in Guelph, Ontario, followed by a gathering of friends and family at the Italian Canadian Club, 135 Ferguson Street.
