Marilyn Elizabeth Mount

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Elizabeth Mount, at the age of 76 years, who left us peacefully, surrounded by family on Sept 29 after a courageous lengthy battle with cancer. Loving husband of Aurele Lauzon for 18 years, brother of Don Hamilton and loving sister Judy ( Ron Johnstone ),cherished mother of Scott Mount, Tracy Mount and Lynne Lauzon. Proud Nanny to Danielle Mount, Dustin Buell, Ryan Buell, Chantelle Mount-Cowen and Jennifer Mount. Marilyn was adored by her Grand children Shawn El-Farou, Jessica El-Farou and the youngest River Mount. Special memories of Nanny, at Riverside Park with her grandchildren will forever be in her heart.

Marilyn worked in retail for many years (K-Mart / Zellers), she loved being around people, she loved shopping (especially for a new purses),she enjoyed knitting and donated pieces to the church, she had a generous, selfless heart and she will be sadly missed by her friends and Her family, which she adored. Your Pillsbury Doughboy, will carry you in his heart, think of you when he sees butterflies and meet you on the other side.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Guelph General Hospital, Jessie, Shelby, Trudy and Alexandra (and others) for the compassion, care and empathy for our Marilyn in her final moments.

A private celebration of life will be held late October for the family.
