Mary Joyce Thibodeaux

Joyce Thibodeaux, 70, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Joyce was born November 26, 1940, in New Iberia, Louisiana. She lived most of her life in Groves and the last eight years in Port Arthur. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Hall #3491, Ladies Auxiliary and Sir Knights Wife 4th. Degree.

Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Thibodeaux.

She is survived by her husband, Paul "Moose" Thibodeaux of Port Arthur; sons, Randy Thibodeaux and wife Lori of Groves, Ernie Thibodeaux and wife Belinda of Vista, CA and Scotty Thibodeaux of Groves; brother, Daniel Paul Bonin of Port Arthur; sister, Betty Segura of New Iberia; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011, from 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Msgr. Kenneth Greig officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be, Randy Thibodeaux, Ernie Thibodeaux, Scotty Thibodeaux, Troy Segura, Wayne Belaire and Shane Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be, Josh Collins, Landon Thibodeaux and David Saide.
