Linda M Linton

Linda Marie Linton, 66, of Port Arthur passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Mid Jefferson Hospital. A native of Jeanerette, LA she was a resident of Port Arthur for 40 years and employed as a caregiver.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston & Loraine Shelton of Jeanerette, LA, brothers, Preston Jr. “June”, Michael and Sylvester Shelton.

She is survived by her children, Wonda Lewis (Alton Sr.), Tina Jackson (Willie B. III), Steven Linton (Queenie), Cleveland Linton (Dietrich), Tamala Linton, Eric Linton (Tameshia) and Charles Linton (Ashley); siblings, Anita, Judy, Brent Gracie, Eva, Carolyn, Rickey, Tina and Loretta; 25 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Harvest Time Bible Church, 4430 Jimmy Johnson Blvd., Port Arthur, TX 77642 with a viewing from 9 a.m. until service time. Pastor Marvin Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
