William F. Dunn, Sr. born June 1, 1927 passed away on May 15, 2023. He graduated from Grove City High School, joined the Marines, fought in WWII, and retired from AEP. Also affiliated with the Freemasons, Scottish Rite, Aladdin Shrine, and Eastern Star he was a member of the Church of the Master United Methodist in Westerville, OH. Preceded in death by mother and father, Mamie and George, and his two brothers, George and Carl as well as his first wife, Janis. Survived by wife of 38 years, Ruth Ann, sons William, Jr. and Michael, and grandchildren, Katie Pache (Sonny), Emily McCartney (Matt), Mitchell (Mary), Amy Snyder (Todd) and Amber Geyer (Jason). As well great grandchildren Grace and Eli McCartney and Aspen and Jace Geyer. A visitation will be held from 11-1 pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd. Grove City (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave.) with funeral service beginning at 1 pm with Dr. David Hogg offiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to Shriners Hospital or the Mid-Ohio Food bank.
