Lily Patricia Myhren was born on December 9th at 9:21pm. She passed at about 10:27am the next morning. She was only with us a short time, but every moment was precious. We will never forget the way she grabbed our fingers, how her face scrunched up when Dad touched her nose, or especially how her vitals improved while Mom read scripture and sang to her in the morning. We are so thankful for the amount of prayers and support Lily and our family received from those we know, and from those around the country and world we will never meet this side of heaven. We are grieving the loss of our little girl, but are also comforted knowing she is in the Lord’s presence, saved through the precious sacrifice and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Special thanks to the staff of Riverside Hospital whose wonderful care made possible our time with her. We look forward to seeing her soon in the presence of our Savior.
“As for man, his days are like grass; he flourishes like a flower of the field; for the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children, to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments.”
• Psalm 103: 15-18
“Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!”
• Luke 12:27-28
