Lillian Rose Johns, age 83, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was born June 11, 1941 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Joseph and Edna (Liebertosky) Tyl. Family was important to her. She enjoyed travelling to Amish country, going on vacations to Myrtle Beach, attending county fairs, cookouts with her family, and going to restaurants with Robert. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis music, playing board games and cards, and caring for her dogs. Lillian is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert Johns; children, Robert (Misty) Johns, Linda (Martin) Vankannel, and Richard (Michelle) Johns; cherished grandchildren, Jake Johns and Sara Vankannel; sisters, Veronica Burns and Shirley (Richard) Piechowski; and many other relatives and friends. Lillian’s family will receive friends 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 4242 Hoover Rd., Grove City where funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. A graveside committal will follow at 1:15 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne.
