Laura Lee Davis

Laura Lee Davis, age 87, formerly of Grove City passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 following a lengthy battle with dementia. Laura was born in Martins Ferry, OH to the late Howard and Eva Davis. She graduated from East High School and attended Capital University. She worked for the Best Insurance Company and later the Paul Johnson Insurance company retiring after 35 years of service. She was a longtime and faithful member of Grace of God Lutheran church where she was active in the choir, bell choir, and prayer chain. Laura was also a former member of the Red Hat Society. They made many fond memories with their bestie couples, Pat and Curt and Joann and Bill. Laura and Jerry were known for unconditional love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Jerry Davis; and brother Jack Davis, Richard Davis and Donald Davis. Laura is survived by her children Sherry (Steve) Rainey and Michael (Janet) Davis, Sr.; grandchildren, Briana, Michael Jr., and Ryan, great granddaughter, Aaliyah; sisters-in-law, Rose Davis and Marion Davis. Family will receive friends from 2-2:30 pm Sunday, November 6 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (Hoover Rd at Kingston Ave) where her funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM.
