Kathy Jo Ball

Kathy Jo Ball, 77, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. She was born November 7, 1946 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Ralph and Kathryn (Brown) Ross. Kathy was a graduate of Marysville High School and worked as a data entry processor at various companies that included IBM, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and ended her career with 30 years of service at Data Entry Services. She loved animals, especially her beloved cat Jazzy. Kathy loved travelling across the United States with her sister Mary. Family was very important to her and she cherished the time that she spent with her loved ones. She wanted to be remembered for always being kind and generous to others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Ball; and siblings, Herbert Ross and Mary Brenneman. Kathy is survived by her brother-in-law, John Brenneman; niece, Johna (Tom) Thompson; nephews, Craig (Lori) Brenneman and Benjamin (Shannon) Ross; several great-nieces and great-nephews; longtime friends, Cheryl, Patsy, and Marilyn; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City where memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be later at Sunset Cemetery.
