John W. Parrett Jr.

John W. Parrett, Jr. passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. He was born July 24, 1939 in Circleville, Ohio and moved to Columbus in 1983. John retired from Franklin County Engineers in 2002. He was a member of Westgate Baptist Church, Buckeye Classic Cruisers, and the Knights of Phythias in Harrisburg, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents John and Ada Parrett; beloved wife, Grace; and brothers, Richard and David. John is survived by his sons, Tim (Beth) Parrett and Todd (Jenny) Parrett; daughters, Lori (Orville) Harris, Teresa Brown, and Dana (Chuck) Warrix; sisters, Mary, Ruth, and Rosada; brother, James; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. John’s family will receive friends 9-11 AM Friday, October 27, 2023 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover RD (HOOVER RD at KINGSTON AVE) where his funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
