Mark is preceded in death by his loving father, Owen Young.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Grace; loving stepsons, Anthony Mendez (Alejandra Juarez) and Vincent Mendez (Marissa); and beloved grandchildren, Devin Miller, Mateo Mendez, and Mira Mendez; loving mother, Marilyn Young; brother, Jeff Young (Jan); and nephew, Tyler Young. He will also be missed by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Mary Margaret Ciaramitaro.
Mark was a graduate of Wayne State University. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his 3 beautiful grandchildren. Mark also enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, and walks in the park.
A Memorial Visitation will be held for Mark on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 11am-1pm, with a Prayer Service to follow at 1pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236).
