John I. Sarcona, age 90, died June 21, 2015 at his home. He was born October 16, 1924 in Detroit to the late Giacchino and Francesca (Diadone) Sarcona. Jack retired from General Motors in 1989 where he worked as a material handler. Beloved husband of the late Virginia. Dearest father of Jack, Thomas and David (Mary). Loving and proud grandfather of 7 and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday 2:00pm-9:00pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, scripture service Thursday 7:00pm. In state Friday 10:30am for a 11:00am Mass at St Malachy Catholic Church, 14085 East Fourteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
