Godfrey Qualls

Godfrey Qualls passed away on December 24, 2015 at the age of 73. He was born on January 18, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee; son of Cleolous and Mary Qualls. Godfrey was a special forces combat trooper in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Upon his discharge, Godfrey reenlisted in the National Guard. He served for 18 more years, retiring in 1994. Mr. Qualls is survived by his children Gregory (Charmaine) Qualls, Jennifer Qualls-Ramsuer (Joseph), Jason Qualls (Francesca), Nico Qualls, Meaghan Anders, and Adam Herring. He was proud of his 17 grandchildren. He leaves behind his siblings Leona Calvin "Bunch", Cleolous Qualls, Katherine (Arnold) Gray, and Calvin Qualls. He was predeceased by his wife Kathy and daughter Kimberley. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1st from 2:00 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am at the funeral home.
