Peggy Joyce Taylor Saunders

Mrs. Saunders was born October 3, 1939 in Griffin, daughter of the late Harvey Allen Taylor, Sr. and the late Sara Davis Taylor. Mrs. Saunders was a member of Devotie Baptist Church, a Pink Lady and a member of the ABC Club. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Allen Taylor, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, George Saunders; daughter & son-in-law, Patty & Doug Pound; son & daughter-in-law, Al & Montie Saunders; brother & sister-in-law, Jimmy & Sheryl Taylor; grandchildren, Caleb King, Nickolas Saunders, Allie Saunders, Brayden Saunders and Sara & Taylor Pound; sister-in-law, Margaret Taylor and nieces & nephews, Jason Taylor, Clint Taylor, Katie Taylor and Tammy Clayton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Joyce Taylor Saunders will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Devotie Baptist Church, 1355 Experiment St., Griffin, GA 30223 or to the First Baptist Church Coffee House Ministry, 106 W. Taylor St., Griffin, GA 30223 in memory of Mrs. Saunders.
