Brenda Glass Dickerson

Mrs. Dickerson was born May 1, 1948 in Griffin to the late Nolen Glass and the late Lizzie Gunn Glass. She was a waitress at Waffle House for almost 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dickerson, Sr.; sister, Mary Glass Horton; brothers, Nolan Glass, Jr., Jake Glass and Stoney Glass.

Survivors include her companion & best friend of 32 years, Johnny Rushing of Griffin; daughters & son-in-law, Wendy & Marcus Adcock of Hogansville, Shannon Lynch of Barnesville; son, John T. Davis, III of Barnesville; sisters, Viola Anderson of Milner, Willie Cole of Dacula and Margie “Polly” Gregory of Griffin; grandchildren, Jeremy Roberts, Chase Lynch, Marcus Adcock, Jr. and Morgan Lynch; great-grandchild, Skylar Lynch and pet parrot, Mojo.

Memorial services for Mrs. Brenda Glass Dickerson will be held Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Mary Jo Willoughby and Rev. Doyle Stanfield will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
