Vickie Elaine (Jackson) Shepherd died on September 19, 2017 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 68. She was born on October 15, 1948. She was born on October 15, 1948 to Marshall and Sarah (Zilsdorf) Jackson.
Vickie graduated from Gresham High School in 1966. She started her working career at Gresham Community Hospital in 1976 and later for Legacy Health Systems.
Vickie loved music and clothes shopping. She loved her family and treated her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.
Vickie married Thomas Shepherd in 1968 in Sandy, Oregon.
Vickie is survived by her loving husband Thomas, Damascus, OR., son Corey Shepherd, Gresham, OR., son Jeffrey Shepherd, Clackamas, OR., her four grandchildren, Sara, Hayden, Gavin and Gage, her great granddaughter Kinzley, her sisters Sharon, Marsha, Becky and Pam. She was preceded in death by her brother Kurt and sister Janice, and her parents Marshall and Sarah Jackson.
Celebration of Life gathering will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at 33415 SE Brooks Rd. in Boring, Oregon 97009
