Venca Weber passed away at her home in Happy Valley, OR on July 25, 2012. She was born in Rapid City, SD on September 5, 1954 to parents Robert and Bernadine Weber. She was the 3rd of four children. Since her father was in the Air Force, Venca moved often as a child, but settled in Oregon in 1971.
As an adult, Venca double majored, and received her Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Religion from Azusa Pacific College. She loved traveling, especially road trips with her family and nieces. She was a sightseer, visiting ghost towns and beaches alike. Venca was a thoughtful and giving person, and was the caretaker for her mother during the last years of her mother’s life. Easy to talk to, and good company, Venca made many friends over the internet and in person. She enjoyed staying fit by working out almost every day at the gym. She began a career as an office manager for State Farm Agents in her father’s office. After his retirement, she continued at other offices in the area. She worked for nearly a decade as a Customer Service Representative for US Bank. In 2006 she began care of her mother full time.
Venca was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Sherwood Weber, Jr., who died as an infant. She is survived and missed by her sister Kathleen Weber Looser (Kurt Looser); brother James Weber (Beth Shumaker); and nieces Ashleigh and Bethany Looser and Felicia, Michelle, Valarie, Kirsten, Rose, and Emma Weber.
